Netflix, we love you, but this is so very true. The Crown star Claire Foy hosted Saturday Night Live last night and took some loving shots at her show's streaming service in the "Netflix Commercial" sketch. The bit mocks Netflix's seemingly endless scroll of movies and TV shows -- so many, even the execs haven't seen them all -- with series like Kennymeade Depot lasting for three seasons even though only one woman watches. Honestly, some of the fake shows in the sketch might even be worth adding to My List. That gritty Family Matters reboot? I'd watch it. I might even watch Leslie Jones getting batteries, especially if it has car chases. I might even be the second person to watch Kennymeade Depot if it ever really shows up. Netflix owns me -- at least for an episode or two before I move on to onething else, then forget that the previous show is still waiting for me to resume.
